What can we honestly say about the mid-series finale of Doctor Who? Well, hopefully a lot seeing as we record a regular podcast on it. The Angels Take Manhattan premiered this evening and it was an emotional roller-coaster within another emotional roller-coaster, while in a terrifying funhouse…thing.
This episode gave us a goodbye to one of the greatest companions in Doctor Who history, and his wife as well. (Note: I have nothing but love for Amy Pond, but Rory is my favorite companion.) It was an soul-crushing episode from Mr. Steven Moffat, and it’s why most of us love him.
After Who has our thoughts in this week’s podcast, but note that I’m not editing it quite as much as usual in an effort to preserve the emotion we felt while recording. Maybe it will make sense after listening.
Panelists: Joshua Silverman, Steven Needham, Charnell Silverman, Joe Ward, & Kaz.
