Salt grains no longer need to be taken anywhere, as the official Doctor Who Magazine and the official Doctor Who Twitter have confirmed that David Tennant and Billie Piper will be appearing in the special alongside Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman. They will also be joined in a guest appearance by John Hurt, who you may know from Aliens and the Harry Potter films.

The clipping to the right is part of the announcement from Doctor Who Magazine, which was featured on Bleeding Cool.
Filming starts this week, with reports stating that the episode will run up to 90 minutes, though that has not been confirmed as of this time. The previous rumor of a worldwide 3D film release have been confirmed however.
We’ll be on the lookout for anymore information and will be discussing it tonight on the mid-season premiere of After Who.
